Step 1of 7Add board

Lumber in its real sizes.

5/4 oak planes to 1¹⁄₁₆″ in the app and 8/4 to 1¾″. Dimensional lumber, hardwood by the quarter, and sheet goods in the thicknesses they are sold in.

Step 2of 7Cut · OutlineC

Curves drawn on the wood.

The waterfall corner is a solid block cut to a quarter circle with the outline pen. The waste shows in grey before the cut is made.

Step 3of 7JoinJ

Joined end to end.

Top, corner and leg meet end to end on Dominos, three across each joint, glued across the whole face.

Step 4of 7Tenon & dovetailT

Dovetailed drawer boxes.

Tails on the sides, pins on the front and back. Set the count, the slope and the depth once; the mating board starts out matched.

Step 5of 7GrooveG

Bottoms in a groove.

The groove runs the length of each side along the grain. Bottoms slide in from the back, fronts go on, and the drawers slide home.

Step 6of 7EdgeU

Softened corners.

A roundover follows any of a board’s twelve edges, the way a bearing bit does. The pedestal takes an 18 mm radius.

Step 7of 7Join · ClipsJ

Lists from the model.

The top sits on figure-8 clips so it can move. Cut list, shopping list, hardware and tools come from the boards in the model.
